Gert Holbek is probably the oldest Danish pipe maker.
His design is distinctly his own. Even in a long distance, you can tell a Holbek pipe.
The pipes are almost ascetic - made first of all, as a "tool" to smoke.
As an industrial designer, Holbek is consentrating on the function of his products as the most vital issue.
He maneges to combine function with form in a very beautiful and straight design.
No need to say, that his pipes are among the best "smokers" you can get (if you can find one...)
